I feel like I am not smart... some what stupid even?

I get good grades in school and I try ym hardest but I came to realize that my worst subject is english. I was born in Russia but came to Canada when I was 6 years old, so english shouldnt be a problem for me, rigth? I make several spelling mistakes and what did it for me well... this must sound silly but in english cl I was supposed to write nacho's and i wrote nancho's b/c I was responsible for writing in my group project and everyone saw it, but didnt know it was me, but still it was very embarssing. :(
